Best hotel / motel near Palmer

I just booked a couple of rooms at the Wedgewood Motel, as it seemed close - but anyone ever stayed there? Are there better options?

I stay in Chicopee. A lot more options. About 30min to the track. (little less) I usually stay at Marriott with points, but there area lot of options there.

Wedgewood is right near freight rail tracks. I've heard people complain that its loud at night.

Yup- Wedgewood has trains running at odd hours. It is clean, no frills and fairly close to the track (15 minutes +/-).
