my 73 bug has the 53 hp motor . will this repair kit work for my motor or is it for the 36 hp motors ? im asking becouse the color of the one thats in my car is black . or is the one i have black just becouse its burned out ?

This rebuild kit is universal.You may have to stretch it a bit to get it on the 53hp. model,but it will fit. :wink:
